Dear ANTHONY WHITEWAY,
I sincerely apologize for the frustration as well as for any inconvenience that you have experienced.
attempted to call you today regarding the following transaction, but was unable to reach you. This email is in response to chargeback case number PP-005-222-509-297
Unauthorized chargebacks are initiated when a cardholder contacts their credit card company and states that they did not make a charge (or authorize anyone else to make the charge on their behalf). Sometimes, it can merely be an issue of the cardholder not recognizing the charge, but it is still categorized as an unauthorized transaction.
To best dispute this type of chargeback, the merchant should provide the following:
· A screen shot of the information that the buyer provided in the merchant’s shopping cart (name, billing/shipping address, phone number, email address, etc.)
· A tracking number showing that the merchandise (if tangible) was shipped to the billing/shipping address on the Transaction Details Page. If the transaction was for $750 or more or the foreign currency equivalent, a signature confirming delivery is required. If the merchandise was intangible, the merchant should provide a description of what was purchased, along with the information above
· Any communication from the buyer that can be used to dispute the chargeback, such as proof that the buyer authorized the transaction
· When applicable, proof that the buyer was refunded either through PayPal or some other means, such as a copy of the front and back of a cashed check or money order
Unfortunately we were unable to cover you under PayPal Seller Protection Policy as you did not provide us with a tracking number that confirms that the item was shipped the address that is listed on the Transaction Details Page/nor did we receive Proof Of shipment which would have confirmed delivery as well. Following the Seller Protection Policy is completely voluntary. However, if you choose to engage in transactions not covered by the Seller Protection Policy, you assume the risk associated with the transaction, as well as any potential liability.
To learn the specific terms and conditions of the Seller Protection Policy, simply click Legal Agreements at the bottom of any PayPal webpage and click User Agreement. As a one-time courtesy I will credit you half of the transaction amount as well as the 14.00 GBP chargeback fee for a total of 220.50 GBP. I respectfully as that you please review our Seller Protection Policy as well as the User Agreement to refer to in the future. Please allow 3 to 5 days for the credit to reflect into your PayPal balance.
